Founder: Jimmy (Jihwan) Kim, from South Korea, college student studying Hospitality Management at New York University.
The Story Behind the Lobby
I’m Jimmy Kim, a Hotel and Tourism Management student at New York University interested in hotel development, real estate, and finance. My experience includes an internship at JW Marriott Seoul and leadership roles in NYU’s hospitality organizations. I created The Lobby to make communication among hospitality students easier and bridge the gap between schools, countries, and industry interests, helping students connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
